So, I've decided to circle back to the Space Marines.... Once Again.
However while this time I will be using a Special Character, It won't be a standard army (like the salamanders who are actually salamanders.)
I'll be starting with the following list:
Kor'Sarro Kahn
- Moondrakken
Command Squad
- 2x Vets w/ Plasma Guns
- 2x Vets w/ Plasma Guns, Lightning Claws, Storm Shields
- Apoth
- Bikes
- Razorback w/ TL Plasma, Lascannon, Pintle Storm Bolter
Librarian
- Bike, Null Zone, Smite, Epistolary
Bike Squad
- 2x Melta Bikers
- Biker
- Attack Bike w/ Multi-Melta
- Sergeant w/ Power Weapon
Bike Squad
- 2x Melta Bikers
- Biker
- Attack Bike w/ Multi-Melta
- Sergeant w/ Power Weapon
Bike Squad
- 2x Melta Bikers
- Biker
- Attack Bike w/ Multi-Melta
- Sergeant w/ Power Weapon
Bike Squad
- 2x Flamer Bikers
- Biker
- Attack Bike w/ Heavy Bolter
- Sergeant w/ Power Weapon
Tactical Squad
- 7 Tac Marines
- 1 Marine w/ Flamer
- 1 Marine w/ Heavy Bolter
- Sergeant w/ Bolt Piston & Power Weapon
- Razorback w/ TL Plasma, Lascannon, Pintle Storm Bolter
This comes in at 1850 points and gives me a highly elite army.
Not used to the play style of this type of army, so there will be a steep learning curve, but that is fine.
I'm doing this one to be able to take a small army with me and play as I travel.
I can fit this whole army in 1 small GW case with battlefoam's help.
Thoughts?
Always interested in feedback.

I think you might want a fist or two so that your units cannot be held in combat forever by AV 13 walkers.
ReplyDeleteI second the above recommendation. Typically I prefer power weapons over fists as I don't lost my initiative, but after being tied up in combat with walkers, I know melta-bombs aren't enough to cut it. A fist or two would probably be a wise investment.
ReplyDeleteIs there a Librarian on Bike that you can buy without having to convert cause all I see is Chaplain on bike>?
